Introduction

Welcome to Bambuya®! The following Terms and Conditions guide the use of and commerce on our web store. This is what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. These terms and conditions are subject to changes. It is your responsibility to be familiar with the latest version of these terms and conditions in advance of any transaction.

§1 General

You can purchase some of our products through our webshop. If you have any questions please contact us at info@bambuya.com for help.

All merchandise remains our property until payment is fulfilled.

Any attempts of frauds will be reported to the Police. Bambuya® reserves the right to cancel, hold on to or further investigate an order it believes to be suspicious, even if delivery time is affected.

No other payment options in addition to those displayed at checkout are accepted.

Bambuya® holds the right to have minor deviations related to how material, color, weight, measurements, or manufacturing, appear on our web store. This also includes typing errors, prices and stock changes.

You have to be of legal adult age to shop through our site, or have a legal guardian confirming your order. Please ensure you include the name and phone number of this legal guardian at checkout.

 

§2 Delivery

We will use PostNL (Dutch postal service) for shipping. Only Bambuya® can make the decision to use a different transport company.

 

Registered Mail

With this option you will be provided with a tracking ID for your package. Note that this tracking ID might be changed by your local postal service once the package reaches your country. If this is the case please contact your local postal service for more information and the new tracking number. Estimated delivery time is 1-2 business days within the Netherlands and 3-10 business days to international destinations, unless indicated otherwise on our website / in our web store.

 

We will charge 25 EUR for declined items, e.g. if you refuse to sign or do not pick up the order at your pick-up point. If you change your mind about things you ordered contact us at info@bambuya.com immediately. You still have to collect your package and return it back to us.

Damaged goods shall be reported at the pick-up point. If you notice the damage after receiving the package please contact us at info@bambuya.com. When returning it you are responsible for the goods. We are not responsible for stolen goods.

 

§3 Payment

You have the following options:

  • PayPal Express (no login needed)
  • PayPal
  • iDeal

When using PayPal Express or PayPal you pay immediately at checkout. When ordering you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. When the package arrives you pick it up at your local pick-up point. All information concerning your credit card is encrypted and secured with a specific technology through PayPal. Bambuya® reserves the right to cancel, hold on to or further investigate an order it believes to be suspicious, even if delivery time is affected.

Bambuya® may also ask you to confirm the order separately by e-mail. Such confirmation email will be sent to the e-mail address you provided during the check out process, prior to delivering your order.

 

§4 Return Policy

Dutch law is applied, according to the right of reclamation and returns. Please refer to the European consumer rights website (http://www.eccnl.eu/page/en) for more information. You have the right to return a product and get a full refund or exchange the product, within 14 days from receiving the goods. If you change your mind about a product you have to contact our Customer Service department via info@bambuya.com within this 14 day timeframe. Bambuya® is unable to take back products that have been processed or used. There are no refunds for Sale items, which can only be exchanged for a similar product or a credit note. When returning or exchanging a product you pay for the shipping cost. However, if the product is defect, damaged or if the return is due to a mistake made by Bambuya®, we will bear or reimburse the delivery cost. Please report the reclamation to info@bambuya.com before returning the product and then return the product together with your receipt to this address:

§5 Security / Privacy

All information concerning your credit card is encrypted and secured with a specific SSL-technology. Most web browsers use symbols or the guide https:// to show that the page you are visiting is secured. www.bambuya.com uses PayPal’s payment services.

According to Dutch law Bambuya® has to have your approval before handling your personal information. By providing your personal information through this website you are providing us with the permissions required to handle this information for all relevant transactional and internal purposes. Receiving your personal information helps us to provide you with good custumer service and relevant updates. Bambuya® will not provide or sell your personal information to third parties without your consent.

 

§6 Force Majeure

In case of war, civil war, revolution, riot, strike, lockout, blockade, natural disaster, measures by public authority or similar circumstances, Bambuya® will apply this Force Majeure clause. This means that these Terms & Conditions cannot or only partly be complied with. If this occurs Bambuya® will try to inform you about this.
